The Child Protection & Safeguarding app is intended to support those professionals who come into contact with children, young people and their families during their work. Its main purpose is to inform and educate professionals who are concerned about a childs immediate safety.

Supporting Information - You will be provided with informative content that will provide education on the safeguarding and protection of children. It will support you through the process of reporting a child protection concern to Childrens Social Care in your Local Authority.

Diagnostic Flowcharts - You will have access to flowcharts that will assist in the diagnosis of safeguarding or child protection concerns. These flowcharts will help to guide you through the process of identifying and reporting these concerns.

Local Child Safeguarding Board Finder - The Local Child Safeguarding Board (LCSB) finder uses GPS to provide users with the details of the closest LCSBs, that will allow them to proceed with formalising their concern.
